Visited Thaikhun for a mid-afternoon meal on Friday . A really cool and funky place with a lot of eclectic items adorning the walls . It wasn’t busy so seating wasn’t a problem . The server took our drinks order and gave us time to order food , which arrived within 15 minutes of ordering . The Singapore salad was by all accounts delicious , as was my Thai Chilli Basil Pork Belly with coconut rice and there was plenty of it. Good food and service.They did get my order a bit wrong but soon changed it for me.The chicken was packed with a refreshing minty flavour and my friend said the noodles were the best she’d ever had.We came on a Saturday at 8 and it was practically empty so not much atmosphere!

Well located spot (by the river), with a colourful interior and good deals on the menu. Unfortunately, the massaman curry was a rather too sweet and papaya salad which was supposed to be very spicy was not spicy at all. Each dish we had was missing the 'heat' that was described in the menu.
