Came here for dinner with friends. First time here, also first night in Cambridge. The atmosphere is great. Food was too. Had the haddock and chips (large fish and fries). The chorizo tagliatelle with red wine sauce. They were very tasty. The fried squid/calamari was very well seasoned. We also had the desserts which were very good- the chocolate dome, the apple raspberry tart, sticky toffe pudding. We all enjoyed everything.
I've lived in Cambridge most of my life and this is the first time here for a Sunday lunch.Absolutely blown away. It was the best meal I've ever had in a Cambridge pub to be honest and I am a very fussy person when it comes to a roast dinner. Simply amazing.

We have gone to The Petersfield on multiple occasions during our stay in Cambridge. It is a very cozy pub, with very friendly staff. The food is very good, the same price in the area. There is always a good atmosphere and they have board games.You have to reserve because it is always full!!100% recommendable.
