Characteristic pub a few minutes from Jesus Green. Beautiful 1930s interior with a gig room at the back. Friendly staff and always a few guest ales. Always some good rock music on the stereo system. Some interesting music memorabilia, and a few vintage arcade games to play. One of Cambridge's friendlier pubs.
Brilliant pub, went here for New Year's eve, the live band was awesome, the cheese table was a perfect fit for the evening, it was delicious. The atmosphere was awesome. Would definitely recommend.

What a night!! My band "Lounge Lizards" performed in the Cambridge Band Competition, and the Portland Arms music venue was fantastic! The stage was awesome, and the sound quality was unmatched. Tom was a great sound engineer and ensured we sounded great all night. Really looking forward to coming back for another gig!! ???Vegetarian options: The vegan pizza is delicious!!
