Just dropped in for a drink. Good to see this lovely old pub open again and retaining its original character. Not horribly 'modernised ' or depersonalised. Friendly staff and good atmosphere
Service and location are wonderful but the food is really quite varied, particularly for the price. Expectations are high with such a nice venue and menu, but the standard of food is mixed to at times quite bad, despite beautiful plating, which is really disappointing. Could be such a great spot in Grantchester.

Lovely pub, nice atmosphere and good service, it’s just a shame that at the price you pay for food there isn’t more generous portions.We enjoyed the food we had but the portions were small, I would have been embarrassed to have served them.
