I have always had a fantastic time at the Red Lion.The staff, Georgia and Pedro especially, have always been fantastic and friendly.We have eaten in the private dining room (parties of eight or more), the restaurant and outside the back.During spring and summer the outside is lovely, quiet and cool, and in winter the inside is warm and cosy.Dogs are welcome, there is alcohol free on tap and the food is honestly brilliant. A warm and friendly welcome at the red lion,we were greeted by a lovely lady and served at the bar by a lovely gentleman....we enjoyed our lunch..although chicken a bit dry in my sandwich...but that wouldn't stop us returning...we thoroughly enjoyed our first experience

Went for here for Sunday lunch today for the first time and it completely exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious (we had the roast chicken) and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our waitress was very attentive and we never felt like we were waiting for anything or feeling forgotten which for a busy Sunday lunch was very impressive! I would highly recommend if you're looking for a great Sunday roast.
