The food is fantastic with usual favourites as well as providing new dishes on the specials board, the service is top notch, and we appreciate how accommodating they are to our toddler. We had a fantastic meal this evening, but unfortunately sat next to a couple that were visibly rude and unpleasant towards our 2yr old - who was very well behaved, but it put a dampener on our visit. Hopefully just an isolated event, but perhaps a Child Only area would be helpful to ensure people who don’t want children in public spaces can be away from them without making families like ours feel unwelcome? This is no reflection of the restaurant or staff, we are grateful to have such a lovely pub to go to with the whole family.

The food was great quality for the asking price and the atmosphere was very relaxed, with no rush being felt to finish up or remove our baby.
We have been here a number of times before, but will continue to come back every other month.

121-122 High St, HuntingdonCame here on Sunday (17.8.25) with my mum and we both loved it here. It was both our first time eating here and it was such a refreshing experience!
We both ordered the chicken and bacon Caesar salad and it was absolutely delicious!
We were both pleasantly surprised to know the chicken and bacon was heated.
The staff were very friendly when they came to check on us. It was very helpful and easy to order from the table via a QR code.
Food was also very reasonably priced and came out quicker than I expected!

If I compare the chicken wings from KFC with those from Chicken Spot, I have to say that Chicken Spot is the best. The staff is very kind, and the customer service is excellent. The chicken tikka burger was the best I've had in recent days, and it was made very fresh.

There was no one else in the restaurant apart from us so it was quiet.
My piece of plaice was quite large, a very generous portion. Cooked fresh and the chips were lovely. A generous portion, more than I could eat.
The senior Cod & chips again was cooked fresh and very generous portions.
The batter on the fish was not too dark and very crispy.
I would recommend giving HODSONS a try.

The food was absolutely amazing and they catered to a 4 person meal with complex dietary needs, whilst maintaining high quality food. My daughter was able to have a dessert catered to her dietary needs that didnt cause any complications. This is the first time we have all been able to eat and enjoy a 3 course meal together. Will be returning and would highly recommend. Our thanks to the staff and chef.

83 High St, HuntingdonOne of the best pizzas I have had in the 5 years I have been in the UK. Generously topped with flavour right to the very edge, the base was crispy making for a delicious pizza. The service was great and friendly. We didn't realise that Da Vinci's is a wine bar, rather than a family restaurant. We were just looking for a quick pizza instead of cooking. Even though we were largely the only ones there at 7pm, we never felt uncomfortable. Oh yes, the decorations already in place for Halloween were fabulous!
(The left over was just as delicious for breakfast!)

Never had a bad one and always good value for the quality you get. The Chicken Bushfire Baguette is my favourite and is out of this world! Just the best. Even if you just nip in for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake you will not be disappointed!

Greystones
The Grn, Sawtry, HuntingdonWe recently used the greystones as the venue for our wedding reception and they did not disappoint!
Lisa and Jimmy were so approachable and nothing seemed too much! I hired the function room and garden for the evening, public had use of the front bar and front garden tables. Late in the evening a few pub guests slipped in to the tempting party but staff were quick to ask them to make a swift exit.
We had tents pitched in the garden and a company in to decorate. There were many other suppliers involved in the day and Jimmy and Lisa were so accomodating. I didn't need to do anything in the day! We were even able to store bits in the days leading up to the day.
On the day the whole team were fantastic and worked so hard. They managed to keep everything on time and running smoothly throughout the day. Special thanks to Alainah, too, who went out of her way to ensure my ideas came to light. The presentation of the food was incredible.
Over all it was such a stress free planning process with Greystones and resulted in a perfect day we are so proud of. If I was to plan a party again Greystones would be No1 choice.

It used to be a fabulous pub, then it was turned into an Indian restaurant. That closed down after lack of use, and is now reopened. It’s nice to see the old place open again.

I had an incredible meal at Southern Fried Chicken! I ordered the southern fried chicken, a mix of chicken shish and donner meat, and their southern fried wedges — and everything was absolutely spot-on. The chicken was juicy and packed with flavor, the donner meat was perfectly seasoned, and the wedges were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection. Service was quick and friendly too, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a new favorite — can’t wait to come back for more.

I had the prawn balls (deep fried prawns in the USA), and shrimp fried rice, and they did not disappoint. As a retired US Army food inspector, I am VERY critical and scrutinizing of food and foodservice establishments. This one is AOK. I was having a awful day and when ordering I was recommended the Dorito fries as I think the server Ben could tell I was looking for comfort (eating my feelings) and he was spot on (thanks Ben).
The main reason my my review is that as I’m sitting eating my food a staff member stops by and asks how my food was and ordering experience etc but following my mumbled yeah great” eyes down reply, stops, looks at me and asks me if I’m ok and then waited for my reply. I won’t go on but I wanted to add this review to let you know that your staff care and made a difference to my day by showing genuine compassion and Pete you were right, it was ok as you said, thanks for taking your time to ask how I was and being that friendly face to pick me up.

25 Church Ln, Brampton, HuntingdonWe just had our Christmas eve dinner there and were so pleased we did. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful and did not loiter around us. The food was absolutely amazing and they catered to a 4 person meal with complex dietary needs, whilst maintaining high quality food. My daughter was able to have a dessert catered to her dietary needs that didnt cause any complications. This is the first time we have all been able to eat and enjoy a 3 course meal together. Will be returning and would highly recommend. Our thanks to the staff and chef.

St Ives Rd, Somersham, HuntingdonA stunning meal tonight. Pan fried halibut with mussels and a pancetta crumb with crushed potato and creamed leeks. Honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I didn't want this dish to end, it was just stunning. Dessert was burnt cream with a raspberry sorbet and a rosemary shortbread biscuit. Well done to the chef for producing a fabulous meal. The Windmill is well worth a visit.

47 High St, Hemingford Grey, HuntingdonWe aren’t local but always enjoy an evening at the Cock when visiting family in the area. The food is fantastic with usual favourites as well as providing new dishes on the specials board, the service is top notch, and we appreciate how accommodating they are to our toddler. We had a fantastic meal this evening, but unfortunately sat next to a couple that were visibly rude and unpleasant towards our 2yr old - who was very well behaved, but it put a dampener on our visit. Hopefully just an isolated event, but perhaps a Child Only area would be helpful to ensure people who don’t want children in public spaces can be away from them without making families like ours feel unwelcome? This is no reflection of the restaurant or staff, we are grateful to have such a lovely pub to go to with the whole family.

The New Sun Inn
20 High St, Kimbolton, HuntingdonPopular village pub with a good menu selection. The menu is on a roll of paper at the bar which makes choosing more difficult, so take a photo. Popular quiz night on a Tuesday, but we sat away from it. Lots of seating options, inside and out.

Olmo Lounge
121-122 High St, HuntingdonCame here on Sunday (17.8.25) with my mum and we both loved it here. It was both our first time eating here and it was such a refreshing experience!
We both ordered the chicken and bacon Caesar salad and it was absolutely delicious!
We were both pleasantly surprised to know the chicken and bacon was heated.
The staff were very friendly when they came to check on us. It was very helpful and easy to order from the table via a QR code.
Food was also very reasonably priced and came out quicker than I expected!

The Willows Café
High St, Brampton, HuntingdonStaff are always so welcoming and serve great food. We now go on a weekly basis with our newborn baby and (sometimes) puppy. If you've never been before, make sure you get a (not so typical) dessert. A very large range, and they are to die for! Lovely outdoor space too if the weather is nice enough to go out there. Would highly recommend.

57 High St, HuntingdonRecently, I had a chicken tikka burger and spicy hot chicken wings from this place. The chicken looked fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. If I compare the chicken wings from KFC with those from Chicken Spot, I have to say that Chicken Spot is the best. The staff is very kind, and the customer service is excellent. The chicken tikka burger was the best I've had in recent days, and it was made very fresh.
