Came here on Sunday (17.8.25) with my mum and we both loved it here. It was both our first time eating here and it was such a refreshing experience!

We both ordered the chicken and bacon Caesar salad and it was absolutely delicious!

We were both pleasantly surprised to know the chicken and bacon was heated.

The staff were very friendly when they came to check on us. It was very helpful and easy to order from the table via a QR code.

Food was also very reasonably priced and came out quicker than I expected!

We'd had friends recommend this restaurant and thought we'd give it a try.\n\nIt was a Saturday evening and the restaurant was busy. Very warm and friendly welcome on arrival and shown to our table. The restaurant is bigger than I was expecting - spacious and airy with a relaxed and informal ambiance.\n\nThe menu gave an extensive selection of authentic Turkish cuisine and offered a choice between individual dishes, set menus and sharing platters. \n\nThe food was plentiful - the portions are huge and we ended up taking home a doggie bag. The food was flavoursome. \n\nThe value for money was exceptional - it was not expensive for what we received.\n\nOverall, a surprisingly good restaurant.

Recently, I had a chicken tikka burger and spicy hot chicken wings from this place. The chicken looked fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. If I compare the chicken wings from KFC with those from Chicken Spot, I have to say that Chicken Spot is the best. The staff is very kind, and the customer service is excellent. The chicken tikka burger was the best I've had in recent days, and it was made very fresh.

There was no one else in the restaurant apart from us so it was quiet.
My piece of plaice was quite large, a very generous portion. Cooked fresh and the chips were lovely. A generous portion, more than I could eat.
The senior Cod & chips again was cooked fresh and very generous portions.
The batter on the fish was not too dark and very crispy.
I would recommend giving HODSONS a try.

After a long walk we decided to get something to eat in The Wheatsheaf. It was about 1pm on a Saturday so was only just starting to get busy. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. Lovely place, feels like you're in the middle of nowhere bit within 5 minutes of driving you reach a Tesco (I'm from Yorkshire, I'm easy to please, what can I say). The staff are all really friendly and happy to help, the rooms are beautiful as is the bar and restaurant. My only gripe is the breakfast, which was a muffin, croissant and cereal, in my room.

When entering the restaurant it was very clean and pretty inside with lovely colourful lights. The food was absolutely amazing, me and my friend had absolutely no complaints and we loved it, I 100/10 recommend this restaurant to everyone. We just had our Christmas eve dinner there and were so pleased we did. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful and did not loiter around us. The food was absolutely amazing and they catered to a 4 person meal with complex dietary needs, whilst maintaining high quality food. My daughter was able to have a dessert catered to her dietary needs that didnt cause any complications. This is the first time we have all been able to eat and enjoy a 3 course meal together. Will be returning and would highly recommend. Our thanks to the staff and chef.

Organised a table of 9 people (7 to eat 9 to drink and 8 to play bingo) for a secret santa thing.. we pre ordered our food as the black bull was very busy with another large function. the food was amazing! huge shout out to Jez and chefs for the food! we all very much loved it! i had the beef stew with dumplings, and it was the best stew i have had in a long, long time! beef was melt in the mouth, and the dumplings were very flavorsome! we had a fantastic night. thank you to you all! the waitress was on point, incredibly polite, and very patient considering on how busy the restaurant was! i have been to the back bull a few times before, and i will guarantee i will be back (sorry guys) lol. :) all in all Loved it!

We had a nice chat with the owners who gave us some very interesting details about the history of the building. This rounded off a terrific evening. Fantastic food, absolutely delicious meat balti and chicken karahi. The chicken biryani is great too. Naan is always soft and warm. The portion size is excellent. Service is fast, it’s my favourite takeaway in town and better than most restaurants I’ve had in London. Really great food. Ordered from here quite a few times now and highly recommend.

One of the best pizzas I have had in the 5 years I have been in the UK. Generously topped with flavour right to the very edge, the base was crispy making for a delicious pizza. The service was great and friendly. We didn't realise that Da Vinci's is a wine bar, rather than a family restaurant. We were just looking for a quick pizza instead of cooking. Even though we were largely the only ones there at 7pm, we never felt uncomfortable. Oh yes, the decorations already in place for Halloween were fabulous!
(The left over was just as delicious for breakfast!)

We visited on a Monday evening and were surprised to find the restaurant nearly full.\nThe next surprise was the appearance of their restaurant. They use lovely white linen table clothes and napkins.\nThe seats are very comfortable and with plenty of space. It was very clean and they showed good hygiene practice when redressing a table of future guests.\nThe menu is very full with a wide range of choices to suit all tastes at reasonable prices. The dishes were all very flavourful and nicely presented, hot and good portions.\nThe food service staff are very affable, smiling and with good customer care skills.\nThey had agreed with us how we wanted the meal to proceed which they followed and frequently checked to ensure it was what we wanted.\nWe all agreed that this restaurant was very special and that we'd return.

We recently used the greystones as the venue for our wedding reception and they did not disappoint!
Lisa and Jimmy were so approachable and nothing seemed too much! I hired the function room and garden for the evening, public had use of the front bar and front garden tables. Late in the evening a few pub guests slipped in to the tempting party but staff were quick to ask them to make a swift exit.
We had tents pitched in the garden and a company in to decorate. There were many other suppliers involved in the day and Jimmy and Lisa were so accomodating. I didn't need to do anything in the day! We were even able to store bits in the days leading up to the day.
On the day the whole team were fantastic and worked so hard. They managed to keep everything on time and running smoothly throughout the day. Special thanks to Alainah, too, who went out of her way to ensure my ideas came to light. The presentation of the food was incredible.
Over all it was such a stress free planning process with Greystones and resulted in a perfect day we are so proud of. If I was to plan a party again Greystones would be No1 choice.

I remember when this place used to be called the Harrier. My mum used to work there in the late 70s, early 80s. It used to be a fabulous pub, then it was turned into an Indian restaurant. That closed down after lack of use, and is now reopened. It’s nice to see the old place open again.

I visited for dinner with my son after a recommendation from our local golf pro, and we were not disappointed! The menu had some great choices, and we were impressed with the specials board. Our food and drinks orders were taken quickly, the beer was excellent, and the food itself was superb with generous portion sizes. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. We have been eating from Platters since the doors opened many years ago, always fresh and tasty Sandwiches, Baguettes, Soups and Jacket Potatoes made to order not pre-packed. Never had a bad one and always good value for the quality you get. The Chicken Bushfire Baguette is my favourite and is out of this world! Just the best. Even if you just nip in for a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake you will not be disappointed!

What an absolute diamond ? of a kebab house. Five Stars! ? ????
I had an incredible meal at Southern Fried Chicken! I ordered the southern fried chicken, a mix of chicken shish and donner meat, and their southern fried wedges — and everything was absolutely spot-on. The chicken was juicy and packed with flavor, the donner meat was perfectly seasoned, and the wedges were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. Portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection. Service was quick and friendly too, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a new favorite — can’t wait to come back for more.

Haven’t been to a Burger King in a long time and I am glad I went in to this one. I was having a awful day and when ordering I was recommended the Dorito fries as I think the server Ben could tell I was looking for comfort (eating my feelings) and he was spot on (thanks Ben).

The main reason my my review is that as I’m sitting eating my food a staff member stops by and asks how my food was and ordering experience etc but following my mumbled yeah great” eyes down reply, stops, looks at me and asks me if I’m ok and then waited for my reply. I won’t go on but I wanted to add this review to let you know that your staff care and made a difference to my day by showing genuine compassion and Pete you were right, it was ok as you said, thanks for taking your time to ask how I was and being that friendly face to pick me up.

I know it’s a Gregg’s and take it for what it is, but how are we supposed to fall in fast food when it takes minimum 10 minutes for them to do anything. They simply operate at a low speed. No sense of pace. Pros: they get my food correct when I mobile order but that takes forever to get and they always have their food and stuff stocked.
