Second visit this week and we decided to have the Sunday roast was amazing so tasty and presented so well, staff are so friendly and accommodating bonus was a live entertainment so we stayed even longer. Keep up the good work we will be back Jon (Charles)

Some parking around the back.Only for around 6-7 cars through so if you have a bigger vehicle park at the front.Some outdoor seating both at the rear and the front.The bar area is very nice, although not big, the seats are comfortable with a TV in the corner.Dogs allowed.The food was very nice and came out fairly quickly.To note, wear a jumper in the restaurant as its quite cold.It was originally a vehicle shed / garage and you can see the sliding doors at the end.The restaurant...read full review

We have eaten in The George twice in the last month, both times as part of a large party. Firstly from the Sunday lunch menu and more recently from the main restaurant menu. On both occasions the food and service have been excellent. We have pre-ordered on both occasions due to the party size but this was not a problem for us and certainly will have made the kitchen staff life a bit easier. There are a lot of mixed reviews here but I can say we will definitely return.
