Called in here whilst staying at campsite in area. Clean and reasonably decorated. Had two bowls of scampi and chips. Cooked to perfection. Drinks, as always, very reasonably priced. Was surprised to find prices higher than our Wetherspoons in Lincoln. Thought they were all priced the same. Only one person serving with a few of us waiting. Big pub and big bar for only one member of staff to manage.Would definitely return when next in area.
Cannot fault it, the food is always fantastic, served fast, plenty of tables, all the seats are very comfortable. We come here every couple weeks and we have never been disappointed, not even once. The only downside is the lack of free parking, there is a car park across the road near the george hotel, but it's £2 for parking. Still worth it though.

Came in for lunch & ordered ham eggs& chips which i had ordered previously.Ham was now just cheap packet type ham whereas previously it was good quality & eggs were well overdone. Would not recommend this dish.Waitress did offer to get more eggs.Wife ordered Chicken strips which she was happy with.with.
