Wharf Rd, Saint IvesI had a lovely birthday dinner at Porthminster Kitchen. I ordered the half lobster and crispy squid, which was delicious. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. I arrived around 3:45 PM, but most restaurants don’t serve lunches after 3 PM. I returned at 5:30 PM for dinner and was pleasantly surprised to find a table available.

As a gluten and dairy free diner, had a good choice of mains.
Generous portions, so no room for desserts.
Quiet Monday night, efficient service.
Really nice food, in a casual environment. Seem to be striving for casual perfection, which largely they are achieving, however, glasses and napkins a little too basic, and detract a little from the overall experience somewhat.

The Quadrant, St. IvesI had set off from London to Cambridge with my family. We also visited this place. We had a lovely dinner. The taste was truly undeniable. A family-run business that is hospitable, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Despite their young age, it’s a place run by two young people who have achieved something big. You should definitely order one of their delicious pizzas right away. Highly recommended!!! It’s also wonderful to see young people running such a great business. You won’t regret it.

Porthgwidden Beach, St Ives, Saint IvesVisited on Tues 27th May. Although it was nearly lunchtime, we initially only wanted coffees. The lovely waitress was really welcoming and gave us a lovely table with a brilliant view. We were made to feel so comfortable, and enjoyed the atmosphere so much that we decided to stay for lunch. So glad we did, we had a fantastic 2 course meal each and enjoyed every bite. Everything about it was perfect. I highly recommend and will be back .

16 London Rd, Fenstanton, St. IvesWe visited on the reopening night. The staff were very attentive and the food arrived quickly, was all cooked fresh well presented and was very tasty. The team explained that whilst they have no alcohol licence we were welcome to take our own if we wished. They had a good menu of soft drinks which was good enough for us. Good luck with the relaunch and hope to visit again soon.

I wasn’t an Indian takeaway person before trying their food I would always opt for something else but the lamb biryani is unreal I can’t not order an Indian on a cheat night! 10% discount on collection and people are lovely there I wouldn’t go anywhere else now :)

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for food is, I fancied a salad with the pizza and was told we don't do salads until after 3pm ( which in fairness it did say on the menu). I was around for a bit longer and came back a few times as I loved the burgers (dirty disco was the favourite), and the staff were super nice ☺️ so why go elsewhere? they recognised me already my second time, and were very accommodating despite me travelling alone (which is not welcome everywhere in the busy summer season) and never booking ahead. Picture doesn't do the burger justice, got to try!

I had the vegetarian spinach lasagne and was absolutely delighted. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and the staff are cheerful and welcoming. A really lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.???

This pubs always been a favourite and will continue to be just that. We had dinner on a saturday night - lovely atmosphere! Had the camembert bread bowl to start - the best starter we’ve ever had! Its huge, amazing value and just DIVINE! We tried the korean chicken burger, poutine, chicken tenders for our mains, all absolutely stunning and finished off by trying the Pain au chocolat bread and butter pudding, stunning! Couldn’t recommend heading here for food more! We can’t wait to go back!
Headed back today (23rd August) for lunch - croque monsieur with added egg, foccaccia bread (bar snacks) and patatas brav-ish (bar snacks) - croque monsieur was a HUGE hit, ham that melts in the mouth and the cheese sauce is beautiful

St Ives Rd, Carbis Bay, Saint IvesWe called in here after a walk around the bay, for a quick pint. Doom Bar had just run out but had a hazy IPA that was delicious and well kept. They don’t serve food until later on so no lunches but they do a cracking Sunday roast. So we booked to come back on Sunday. Which we did and enjoyed a great beef Sunday lunch each with an accompaniment of cauliflower cheese which was all delicious. Got Doom Bar back on by that time so was extra enjoyable. 10/10.

Been on holiday for added days in St Ives and we visited Becks twice.
Staff were all very kind from young to older staff. Very polite and helpful.
Food tastes amazing and decent portions.
On the busiest of time we didn’t wait even 5 minutes for a table.
We 100 visit anytime I’m back up here.

27 Fore St, Saint IvesPre-booked a table for Friday evening which is probably necessary for peak season as it's a very popular restaurant.
Staff were very friendly, and very attentive to those with nut and gluten allergies - providing separate menus with the items highlighted to avoid or to choose from.
Food arrived promptly and was presented really well - good portion sizes too.
We had the flat iron steak, sea bass and a brisket burger. All of which were delicious and cooked really well.
Definitely a restaurant for a bit of a treat as it is a little pricey for some items, like £5 for a side of sweet potato fries.
We'd happily come back again when visiting St Ives.

We were honestly shocked the decor is beautiful, the hospitality was warm and genuine, and the food was absolutely spot on. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and perfectly cooked.
It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but this one really does. I’ll definitely be recommending it to friends, and we’ll 100% be coming back!

Norway Lane, Saint IvesWe've had a Wonderful and warm welcome when we had dinner there. The food was very original, tasty and perfectly cooked. I even went back 2 days after my first visit just to get a side of there to die for side of stemmed brocoli. I was welcomed with the same grace and warmth by a very charming and pleasant lady who invited us to sit down while waiting. That's that kind of sincere welcome that make you realise how special this place is.

I had the absolute pleasure of providing a mobile disco for Mr. and Mrs. Cornwell’s special day at The Seven Wives, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The venue is charming, with a warm and inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for weddings, parties, and special occasions.
The staff at The Seven Wives were friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful — they made sure everything was well-organised so the night ran smoothly for both the guests and myself as the DJ. It’s clear they take pride in making every event special.
If you’re looking for a venue with great facilities, a welcoming vibe, and a team that goes the extra mile, I’d highly recommend The Seven Wives. I’d be delighted to return for another celebration in the future.

The Wharf, Saint IvesHad lunch yesterday after a trip to St ives.
Food was ok, i had Salt and pepper calamari, which was ok, but had about 20 rings, which were 10 too many lol and were slightly lacking in the salt and pepper department.
Partner and son both had the fish and chips which they both enjoyed.
Was pretty quite when we went in.
Staff were a nice bunch of lads, polite and respectful.
All in all not a bad place, would go back if im ever in St ives again.

Some buffoon keeps moving the maps pin to Globe Place Car Park, I keep correcting it but someone keeps moving it back, for anyone visiting who is striggling to find it, it's in Crown St down past Lloyds Bank, west end of the Market Place.

Olives Cafe, Island Square, Island Rd, Saint IvesThis is the BEST cream tea in St Ives. It was recommended by the lady running the boat trips and she wasn't wrong. Beautiful fluffy Scones (variety of choices) which are easily big enough and delicious. AND they have various other choices for the doubtful 7 year old who isn't sure about a Cream Tea and just wants a hot chocolate with a slice of Tiffin.... I was tempted to double up and have one of those too they looked so nice. Great staff and service too. And the location is perfect - on a quiet little street set back from the hustle and bustle. This place is in a league above everything else on all fronts.
