Overall very good, one simple gap stops them getting 5*. Called in for lunch, nice atmosphere inside and friendly service. Drinks were served quickly, food a bit slow but it was Saturday lunchtime and they were close to full. Drinks were great, food mostly tasty however they only offer white sourdough toast, no wholemeal or granary option. Delicious Eggs Mushroom, with 2 huge mushrooms and 2 perfectly poached eggs nestling under a blanket of hollandaise sauce on crispy sourdough bread, and only £8.50. Great service too. Would definitely come back.

Had smashed avocado and poached eggs with the tropical smoothie, both of which were absolutely lovely. For a total price of £13, I think this may be one of my favourite if not my favourite cafe in Chester. The polite staff make it even more enjoyable
