Stopped here on our way back from one of our ambles as a nearby church was closed for lunch. We were all surprised and delighted at how lovely The Greyhound Inn was. They quickly and efficiently took our orders and brought our meals which were lovely. Prices were reasonable and portions good. The customers were friendly and they are dog friendly.
We were aware that the Greyhound had some poor recent reviews before we booked. Despite this we decided to visit as it is the only pub/restaurant in the village my daughter and her family have recently moved to. It was a slightly odd experience as we had to find our way through the pub with a pram before getting to the restaurant and the lady who took our order didn’t seem to know much about the beers on offer. We went for Sunday lunch on mothers day. It was absolutely beautiful. It is by far the best Sunday lunch I have had in a very long time. And to top it off all the mums were given a free glass of fizz. Who could want more.
