The staff without exception were all really helpful and friendly. We had afternoon tea in the spa which was lovely & dinner & breakfast excellent too. The treatments I had were fabulous.However our room was freezing despite radiator being full on & the bathroom was in need of refurbishment not what to expect for £270 at all. Everywhere we saw was clean but all a bit tired. Lovely gardens & grounds.
Celebrated our wedding anniversary here! Still the same rustic charm and fantastic waiter/waitress service. All food dishes were excellent...combined with a lovely surprise awaiting for us in our room.

On the whole good toilet didn't flush properly they did attend to it but still not right corridors and conservatory cold given broken glass for cocktail they did refund bedroom comfortable tv programs need retuning lot were scrambled and didn't tell u what was on TV noisy on floor above for both nights but that not fault of hotel would go back again staff friendly spa nice
