Katie and Hilary (sorry if I got your names wrong) we're absolute angels. I missed my train to Chester and went in asking for help after 40 mins and 20 failed phone calls. When I did ask at the bar whether anyone could help me out so I didn't miss my connection, I was not expecting anything positive. Buttttttttttt, they both went well above and beyond to ask Ben (friend of the pub by the looks of it) if he was up to helping me out and he generously obliged immediately. Love this place, always helpful bar workers. My mate visited and we came here to play pool. Nice pub atmosphere, with pleasant locals too. Pool tables in excellent condition. Will definitely return.

Found this place looking gor somewhere to watch the football great sporty atmosphere lads playing pool in an adjoining room next to the main bar lots of people popping in and out nice locals pub.
