Recently moved to the area. This gem was recommended to me.Great location and great views over the river Dee and to the Welsh mountains.The manager James is very welcoming and the staff are all great and customer focused.Great traditional pub
Went in for a few drinks and ended up watching some great live music and having a pie and a pint. The food and service was expectional. The views from the back of the pub are stunning and will be visiting again!

Popped in several times since August after we have moved back to Chester. Pies are fantastic, good range of drinks reasonably priced. Friendly staff with really good customer service. Obviously the view is amazing (even though we only live across the road!).
