Great pub, highly recommend. One of the few pubs in Chester that still has the traditions and character of a proper old fashioned boozer: dart board, live fire, great cask ale. If you're in Chester and you like pubs this place is a must
This is a proper pub, we try and visit when we go to Chester races, great staff and a fine selection of beers, but best of all the fire is always burning bright and long may it do so, see you soon ?, our annual visit, glad to report all's well in the Cottage ?
