Bar • “Terrific bar if only for the beer I’m drinking. Deceiving as I was only expecting a micro bar but there are two further rooms and a beer garden (partially under cover). Beer menu on the board to the left as you enter let’s you know the score. Community herb garden at the back where you can help yourself.”
Bar • “Food was decent, Steak and ale pie was delicious, had jam and coconut sponge with custard for dessert, portion was big enough for two.Service could be better, asked for mustard and was told they didn't have any. Found out after that the carvery has mustard. Staff member didn't tell me or offer to get me some.”

The lady behind the bar was attentive and friendly; Cleaning whenever she wasn't busy.The other young ladies working were also very pleasant.The outside has good facilities for children and appears to welcome dogs which is great for the area.Would definitely pop in again if we were on the way past”
