We come here when we can get together, and we are never disappointed. The staff are great here, very well-mannered, polite, quick with service, and very friendly. There's a lovely atmosphere, the food is lovely, never any complaints, and we are always happy to return. Thankyou for making time spent here so lovely.
Lovely meal at the rising sun today. Staff were friendly and attentive. Met up with a friend for a catch up and it was the perfect location. Not to busy, quiet but still enough people for an atmosphere. I had the lasagne and my friend who is a vegetarian chose the mushroom and ale pie. We chose here because of the great vegetarian options that they had available and we werent disappointed. Food and drinks arrive promptly and were perfect. Nice lunchtime get together. The food was excellent and the service fast and efficient. There was a good atmosphere. Tables in the restaurant were fully booked. We had a table in the bar area which was quite pleasant. Plenty of parking available. Lots of outdoor seating too.
