Unfortunately we both wanted the steak and ale pie, were told at 11.40 that there wasn't any or fish for fish and chips, not very good ordering for the start of the weekend, what we did have was gammon and bangers and mash and it was very nice,staff friendly, a good atmosphere also.
Nice dog friendly sports pub.Good selection of beers and ciders.Nice menu although some items were not available at lunch on a Saturday.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options available.

Went for a lunchtime meal for the first time. We were given a warm welcome and taking our dogs in was not a problem. The food was lovely and we didn't have to wait to long. Highly recommended.
