Had a lovely meal here for my daughters birthday. The service was excellent. Meals were absolutely delicious. Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning. We were looking for somewhere small that wouldn't be majorly busy with people just out for a drink ( with it being Christmas time) as my daughter struggles with crowds we got exactly what we hoped for in this warm and welcoming Pub/restaurant. I came on Friday with 7 of my friends and must award 5 stars for our Christmas lunch. It was absolutely delicious. Everything a Christmas lunch should be. The staff were very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. There was more than enough food and all beautifully cooked. Top marks. We will definitely be coming again very soon. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

Popped in for the first time in quite a while, we just wanted a main meal. We both had steak and ale pie and it was beautiful. A cold day, made better by the real fire burning. We shall definitely be visiting again.
