Always lovely pub, great people and service. Really good garden downstairs for sitting out in, but the indoor is nice and cozy. Great selection of drinks at a good price, always had a good night out here
A good old-fashioned pub which doesn't serve food (other than the occasional sandwich for sale on the bar - or a selection of crisps/nuts), but has a tremendous selection of beers, which are always kept in excellent condition. The beer selection is forever updating, but I've had some fantastic porters, stouts & IPAs from here, including Titanic Plum Porter, Jaipur, Citra etc.There's also a decent beer garden (head downstairs and out of the back door - I'd been going to The Borough...read full review
