I only give 4 stars as I did not visit all areas available at the time. Went to a family wake here. My brother-in-law ran this pub a long time ago and used to visit regularly. Going now, it has changed for the better. It still has an original stable at the back from decades ago, a hint of which is reflected in the pub today, with old saddles displayed exquisitely on the wall. Very friendly, the pub has a wonderful, community feel. It was full and busy, full of life and chatter....read full review

Traditional inn with bar, lounge and room for pub games like dominoes and darts. Clear pricing for all drinks laid out on a blackboard. Regulars make time for visiting teams from other pubs when playing pub games.

Nice cosey little place. Good range or beers, lagers, ciders and wines. Basic crisp type snacks available. Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, I was pleasantly surprised. Had lots of parking and a good sized garden I'm looking forward to trying in the summer.
