No Sunday Lunches as Chef on holiday.Exceptionally pleasant young landlord.Enjoyed Tapas instead which were excellent.Nice to see a proper " local".Only us eating.About eight men came in later and drank at bar.Will go again to eat Sunday Lunch.(apparently young man is NOT the landlord but still very pleasant!)
Friendly staff and wonderful selection of affordable pub grub and drinks, Also if your into sport it has a big screen tv in it's function room at the back of the pub with a pool table and plenty of darts boards. Will return

Typical pub grub but cooked and presented better than most.Service was ok but like a lot of places, they miss sales by not coming around to ask if we were ok for drinks.If you fancy a pub meal, then it would be difficult to find better in Congleton.
