We visit Nantwich every couple of months and discovered Ginger and Pickles last year. I felt I had to write a review after our visit yesterday. It was a freezing cold day and we walked in to warmth- I sat by the radiator which was bliss! Although the cafe was busy, we didn’t have to wait too long for our order to arrive. I had the homemade tomato soup, which was the nicest I have ever tasted. My husband chose the club sandwich, which he always does, and enjoyed it very much....read full review

Lovely little stop for an early lunch after visiting the food market. Loved the pot of tea, old school with tea leaves & the smoked salmon sandwich was delicious & served in super soft fresh bread! Will definitely be visiting again soon ?

We couldn't fault the food and drinks, all arrived warm, well presented and full of flavour. At first the owner came across as friendly and quite a character which we found endearing, however our opinion quickly changed when she shouted across the cafe to her staff, barking orders at them as if they were children. We felt the staff looked embarrassed. It was uncomfortable to watch.
