Bar • “Excellent food, huge portions given by polite staff. I have been for special family meals with groups of 10 people and also just with a friend for a lunch. Nothing is too much trouble. Puddings are great but I often don't get that far as too full! Lovely view of the marina and easy car parking. Soot Hill has reopened so start to go again :)”
Bar • “Note - gave the food 3 stars because I haven't eaten there in a while. Only went for drinks. Everything I saw looked good though.Great pub. Good selections for drinks (provided you're okay with Lees ) and good service. Great beer garden with plenty of seating including heated. Accommodates kids, dogs, the works.”

Waited about 40 mins for our food to arrive and staff were very polite and friendly.Good and varied menu with plenty of choice.The only two negatives I have is 1. there were kids running around the place and obviously hot food was being served so it could have been an accident waiting to happen and 2. the cutlery was just plonked on a tray and handed to us- I wasn't overly impressed with that.”

Bar • “I visited when the pub have just reopened and there was a good vibe. The kitchen wasn't yet re-opened so I didn't sample the food. People seemed positive and I'd go back ”
Bar • “We had a great first time at The Fishpool Inn and will definitely be back. The food was lovely and well presented. All staff were pleasant and accomodating. We brought a birthday cake and the lady we spoke to (we think a manager) was happy to help us with this. They brought it out at a good time complete with a sparkler candle! They even brought over a cake knife and plates! Thank you Fishpool.”

Bar • “1st time at there pizza night on Wednesday and will definitely be back, pizzas were amazing and such good value, service quick, efficient and friendly, atmosphere lovely and relaxed and the place the was spotless. Can't wait to try more of the menu ?”
“We've been in to the White Barn this afternoon. Not usually a massive fan of the chain but it was handy whilst running around doing errands. So glad that we did. The pub is very clean and has really nice decor with a great outdoor area. Food wise, the delicious lasagna came with a gorgeous salad-the garlic bread was fabulous too. A lovely young lady named Leah looked after us and she kept smiling even when I was dithering about wine choice! She even helped me to use my Blue Light card as I'm clueless! Both my husband and myself thought that she was a credit to the pub as were the other staff too. Can't believe such lovely food came for £11.99 for two main meals. Thanks so much and we'll definitely be back soon.”
