A nice enough place albeit very dimly lit which always hurts my eyes when I go outside again ? However, the staff who served me were fairly honest, and friendly people, helpful too… and the smoking area was more interesting than most
Great bar, 4 real ales that are well kept at very good prices(especially Monday) friendly helpful staff and live music at weekends, I was only visiting Northwich but this is one of my favourite pubs in the UK.

Just what Northwich always needed.... At last, good beer and proper live music! A real hub of like minded people. Beer list is on untappd if you care about such things, but there's always good ones available. Music remains proper, dead good, mainly under the radar, punky stuff and similar; the best place in town by a long way.
