We had a very warm welcome from the owner. The room is well set out,the bed was really comfy. We didn't have food here as we were going out to a party. The food did look and smell amazing. Great atmosphere in the pub,decent real ale options. Would definitely recommend the place to others.

a last minute decision to pop in for a quick evening meal, we weren't disappointed. James looked after us very well, he is friendly and cheerful and goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable, checking that you have all you need.Our meal was super, tasty and hot, and the service spot on.Keep up the good work as it's great to have The Coachman as our local.

My good lady and I went for a meal. The steak and ale pie was the best I'd ever had and my partner's lamb shank went down a real treat; all washed down with sumptuous Chilean merlot...yummy. Had the acoustics been softer, the rearranging off tables and chairs would have been less jarring. Apart from that, 5-star evaluation would have been spot on. However, owners and staff were extraordinarily friendly and professional.Food & drinks: The fare could not be faulted and was exquisite.
