Booked to come here to celebrate 2 birthdays and it was just perfect. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food especially the lamb shanks and the moo pie. All staff was superb especially Andy he could not do enough for us all. We will be back again soon.
Having lived down the road for many years, I did not frequent The Stag much despite it being my local. However that has changed since the pub has changed hands and had its refurb. Came in New Year’s Day for a roast dinner, and every bit of it was delicious with no complaints, even was offered extra gravy which I thought was a really nice touch. We celebrated my partner's 40th birthday yesterday and all I can say the Stag is fantastic, the family love home cooked food and that is exactly what we got. Would highly recommend in a heartbeat and we will be back to try the new menu, thank you to the staff on the back of a busy period for taking care of
