I’m a local (ish - from just up the coast) and have been meaning to get over to Elements for some time - first at Widemouth and then at their new location in Bude - but have never managed it. Decided to go this evening as it’s that weird period between Xmas and NY and we’re fed up of leftovers. What a superb meal we had. Pleasant atmosphere, great service, and large portions. We had two sharing platters which filled us up plenty, and topped it off with dessert which was a perfect tasty treat. Coffee was superb, and staff were friendly and polite.

We stayed the night at the Beach hotel and elements is an independent business within the hotel. Comfy pre dinner lounge , great atmosphere and frequented by holidaymakers and locals. They do it well!! Restaurant was full from around 5.30 until 10pm. The Antipasti to share was really good and great value. Everyone enjoyed there mains with no negative comment. Staff were brilliant with great work ethic and anticipated our needs with out any prompting. Perfect evening.
