Called in for lunch today, as whenever I can when in the area, this is my favourite local pub for food in Cornwall.As expected, we ordered food and not long after, out came 2 amazing meals. Been trying to get my wife to go in for years whenever we visit Calstock, always refused. She finally went in with a friend a few months ago and now safe to say she's a convert!Food is fresh, homemade and delicious, good portions too. Family service with a smile. Warm atmosphere. Cozy fire.A real gem.

Stayed in Air BnB next door for the weekend. Had two evening meals and Sunday lunch in the pub. Amazing food - every meal was simply superb, great steak and one of the best Sunday lunches I've ever had in a pub. And all at really good prices. Great welcome from all the staff, Harry and everyone else.
