Had a short stay at the Mariners recently and everything was absolutely spot on. I made an initial telephone enquiry regarding my visit, Lisa was exceptionally helpful with with a wonderful telephone manner. In person she's just as professional, helpful and friendly. I arrived early but was allowed to check in early. As a solo traveler I'd booked a single room but had already been bumped up to an excellent double room with harbour views (see attached pic). Comfortable rooms, helpful and polite staff, slightly tatty but not awful, good vegetarian and vegan options for breakfast.Walkability: Close by the marina and at one end of the high street. 15 minute walk over to the beaches... Great location.
Went for Sunday lunch. Booked in advance as we knew it was dog friendly. Really lovely Sunday lunch friendly staff and good choice of beers/ales. All in all good value for money. Would definitely revisit
