My wife & I were annual visitors to the Sea drift Cafe. We returned as we experienced excellent food & service on every visit which were numerous. We had been informed that the Sea drift was temporarily closed & decided to pass by on the chance that we could get an update to see all the furniture being removed, we were told that the chef/owner had been hospitalised. Service was good (It's a small restaurant, maybe 16 covers). Food was excellent. I had the Stone Bass and it was a new one for me, absolutely lovely fish. All our meals were delicious. I will seek Stone Bass out at the fishmongers now.. Book early here... this is the best restaurant we found in Ilfracombe and due to the size is hard to get in without a booking.

Had a fab meal at Seadrift tonight, fab food, great service although busy. Will be back most definitely. please book early as only small establishment but well worth a visit. Thank you all.??
