We elected to go for this lovely little property based on price, availability and the quirky nature of the set-up; we were not disappointed in any of these regards! Arrival is something of a chore, only because as any visitor to Polperro will know, most properties have to park cars in the main car park at the top of the village. Eaten in ‘the props’ many times over the years and again this year, it didn’t disappoint. Great breakfast and service. Can highly recommend the detox smoothie if you have over indulged the night before.

Stopped for one night with friends, walking the coast path in March. Despite us all being wringing wet and muddy we received a super-warm welcome from Claire who even dried our clothes! Amazing breakfast with home made walnut bread. Room with best view in town! Don’t expect slick or swanky. Do expect amazing hospitality, great food, and everything you need.
