... but my wife & I were craving a cooling after-lunch treat on a warm June day. So we each ordered a single scoop of Cornish farm-made Roskilly's ice cream in small sugar cones, Salt Caramel for my wife and White Chocolate & Raspberry for me. They each had good flavour, though I'd rate the creaminess as average for premium ice cream. We have visited twice already during our holiday: once for ice creams when it was warm and for hot coffee and great cakes when it was wild and windy! The friendly service was excellent both times. The ice cream was very delicious with interesting flavours and the scoops a generous size. (No bright colours either!) Can’t wait to go back to try the gooseberry and the orange mascarpone.

Visited today whilst waiting outside mountain warehouse. The cake caught my eye. Ordered a takeaway coffee as it was such a windy day. Lovely friendly staff, decent prices, no minimum card charge. Beautiful cherry Bakewell tray bake! Wish we were staying closer as I would be back for more!
