Like many we’ve been coming to Newquay for years but this was our first visit . How have we not been before ?! Such a lovely setting . We went for breakfast and only just made it as they stop serving it at 10.45. We all had a full English , bacon was top quality. Undoubtedly the best cafe I have had in Newquay Cornwall. Service was bit slow though lol. Good outdoor seating, delicious food. We tried vegan breakfast., item were fresh and tasted absolutely amazing.It's next to lake, which make it more special. Prices are also reasonable. Plenty of free car parking spaces available. Welcoming staff, nice atmosphere. We went on " pie night", and although the chicken and ham pie was absolutely packed with chicken, the pastry was a real let down.Puff pastry that was literally just air!! The sticky toffe pudding was delicious though.
