“Dog friendly pub with great staff and excellent food. We had the 'Cornishman Burger'- the picture doesn't do the double Wagu burger and giant onion rings justice. Decent Ale at £4.50 a pint. Highly recommend ???”

“Had an absolutely amazing meal here with my hubby whilst on holiday in the area, the food was delicious, very good quality and tasty, service was great, very friendly staff, can't fault a thing. We both had meals from the specials board, I had the chicken supreme and husband had the steak and ale pie where he changed the mash to chips which was no problem. Husband said it was the best pie he's had in ages really tasty filling with really tender meat and the shortcrust pastry that surrounded the pie was lovely too. Choose this pub through the already good Google reviews so here's another. If we holiday in the area in the future we'll be sure to return!”

“We were staying at Hendra. Visited here 2 times. The food was lovely. Nice homemade not frozen rubbish. Our homemade burger and lasagne were lovely. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Will definitely come back when we are at Hendra next time. Thank you. Rattler was great too.”

“Lunch was fabulous, the Moules as a starter and the pork for main, both highly recommended.
Lovely staff, friendly and attentive, and Albert the dog gave us a lovely greeting and loved cuddles while we waited.
