1. The most welcoming and friendly staff.2.The most scrumptious pasties.3. The best coffee in size and taste in Padstow.I recently spent 2 weeks in Padstow restoring a property. I spent this time alone, a busmans holiday of sorts. Amongst the scenic harbour and sandy coves is this gem of a bakery. Just popped in for a treat to have later with a cup of tea and picked up a cherry and almond croissant. Oh my, quite possibly the best pastry I have ever had in all my 48 years. Absolutely delicious, so flavourful, rich with cherry, generous in size, flaky and buttery and bursting with almonds. Alas, not available online to order but probably a good thing to keep it an occasional treat!

One of our faves. Hasn't changed over the years Friendly service and alternative and different pasties. The apple rhubarb custard is a particular family favourite. We always look forward to visiting again.
