Cold sunny day. Had a couple of hours to pass waiting for a train. Greeted by a lady with a lovely, genuine smile who just looked pleased to see me (I know she wasn’t) Two coffees and a lemon drizzle cake later I went for my train have gazed across the water through a panoramic window. You need google to find it but I think it’s well worth the effort
It's definitely on the pricier side (for me at least) but the food is fabulous (the eggs benedict was incredible) and the staff are a joy. Very nice little cafe, dog friendly and great harbour views.

We went for Mother's Day lunch today. As always, a great, family friendly but classy atmosphere with excellent service. The roast was a very reasonable price, especially for the quality and portion size. Similarly with the kids fish and chips. The child's size portion was spot on for our 11 year old.Thanks all,See you soon
