My husband , daughter and I came across this pub on a night out in Penzance . As soon as we stepped in we were greeted with a huge welcome by a group of people who made you feel like friends we had one drink and went on to check out other pubs in the area and were not impressed so returned to the seven stars . This is in appearance a locals pub.Very old, somewhat quirky!Where these days do you find a cider pub?Other drinks also available but mainly keg, lager, probably not the greatest option on wines, cash only, sign in for covid regulations.Cider was great.

We went to this pub on a recommendation from another landlord, I was a bit dubious at first and not really feeling comfortable. But the landlord, Shane, soon changed that. He was really friendly and welcoming, he put money in the jukebox and even bought a drink for us. We had a great night out. Don't be put off by first impressions.
