Lovely local 'real' pub with amazing food. We visited for the first time today, for their Sunday carvery. Simply delicious and extremely great value for money. We had a very warm welcome from the landlord and landlady, which totally made it. First time we’ve visited the Star Inn. All four of us really enjoyed the food. Well worth the wait for the tasty main courses. Very friendly staff. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

Lovely roast, one of the best in the area, which was tasty and very good value at £12 for a standard size and £8 for a small. One of the best I've had, but you will need to book, especially on a Sunday.
