9 Higher Fore St, RedruthWas always my fave Chippy when living in Redruth!I love what they've done with the place,in my absence of 3yrs.However,I did find the meal was slightly like warm,and we only live about 3mls away,and food was slightly overcooked.All in all,I will always come back,and we did enjoy our meal?

Kaarma Authentic Indian Cuisine

We've been ordering from Kaarma for at least a year now and the food is always super tasty. We've only had one issue in the past, we had one missing naan and it was delivered to us about 15 minutes after calling. I don't know any takeaway that is that good at customer service. I also love that the menu labels vegan food, it is uncommon and so helpful ?

Fore St, St Day, RedruthWhat a gem we hit upon whilst staying locally! Genuinely welcoming, eager to lease, great, freshly made, pizza! We returned for Sunday afternoon for a brilliant few hours in a real community pub. The singer was really good, everyone was so friendly. Well done to all, excellent!

5 Higher Fore St, RedruthI have arrived to Redruth and first restaurant to see was Amity. I entered with my suitcase to just order food and go to my hotel. The receptionist was really nice and he offered to help me book taxi as it’s kind of hard to get one in that area. The owner ended up asking his delivery driver to drop me off to the hotel instead for free. Such a nice team and such a nice gesture. And the food was really really good, I had both my meals at Amity when I was there ? They even have an app that works in both apple and android with delivery as well.

Sanders Fish And Chips
126-128 Agar Rd, Illogan Highway, RedruthIt was a typical Cornish day with mizzle, I was cold and a little wet after walking my dog. I asked the warmest place to sit and was shown a seat. I was told they would turn the heating up, which they did and I became warm and toasty. Service as always is lovely, attentive but not overly so. I had the lunchtime special Fish, chips, mushy peas, bread and butter washed down with a pot of tea. Great portion of fish in a golden crispy batter. As a northerner I'm fussy about mushy peas but these don't let you down. All in all lush food, great service in a clean and fresh environment. I would thoroughly recommend.

Unit 2 Agar Way, RedruthDog sitting at Mother and Father's and they left us money to get a takeaway. So after a brief argument on whether to get pizza or kebabs we compromised and got both from Moganojax! I saw on Facebook that they had started to do kebabs and was not disappointed, couldn't even finish the kebab it was so stuffed and the chicken was delicious. With the pizzas as good as usual and a cheeky biscoff waffle for dessert ? delivered in under half hour too! Just wish I still lived in Redruth as it would be the go to takeaway for me!

The food is 5 star and above. We couldn't eat it all because the portions were very generous. Highly recommend.

Shown to table with drinks ordered straight away, promptly followed by the menu. The food was served in a timely manner, with good portions, well presented & was very tasty. Staff were friendly, attentive & a credit to the team.

Unit A, Cooks Corner, Dudnance Ln, Pool, RedruthA Delightful Turnaround with Domino's on Decatur and Blue Diamond Rd After a less-than-stellar experience with another franchise, I decided to give Domino's on Decatur and Blue Diamond Rd a try, and I'm so glad I did! Right off the bat, the pizza itself was a pleasant surprise - it was cooked to perfection, with ingredients that were well-proportioned, making the pizza not only look appetizing but taste delicious as well. What stood out to me, apart from the quality of the pizza, was the effort put into the delivery service. The drivers parked a considerate distance away from the store, which I found to be thoughtful and professional. Upon entering the store, the warmth and friendliness of the employees were immediately noticeable, making the pick-up process that much more welcoming. Additionally, I was impressed by the abundance of condiments available - the pepper and Parmesan cheese options were plentiful, allowing for that perfect custom finishing touch to their pizzas. Overall, this Domino's location on Decatur and Blue Diamond Rd has earned my loyalty as one of the better places to order from. The combination of great food, considerate delivery practices, and a welcoming store atmosphere has truly set them apart. Thank you for such a positive experience. I'm already looking forward to my next order!

However we called in and my husband had bacon on a baguette and there was only one piece of bacon ? he said I wonder if the other piece has fallen out?. It was a lot of bread and not much bacon .. I don't eat meat so I'll still eat and drink there.Vegetarian options: The cafe has a small menu and dies offer some vegeterian dishes. Flat bread dish was nice.

Appleton Tea Room
51 Fore St, RedruthI popped in to Appleton Tea Room recently to check its suitability for a small family get together later this year. I enjoyed a smashing pot of tea in a bone china cup. The tea was full of flavour made even more tasty by the use of loose leaf tea in a little teapot and a cup rather than a tea bag in a mug! I took two slices of cake with me as I was stopping at a friend’s on my way home. The Hevva cake and the coconut and raspberry slice were shared by us after lunch and we both agreed how delicious they both were. Can’t wait to go back for a “cream tea” or tea and cake with my family. Hilary, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming. We all need an”Appleton Tea Room” near to us. Thank you Hilary.

I had a large steak, at a very reasonable price of £4.50 compared to other places. The filling was hot and the pastry wasn't heavy either. Delicious meat and veg, and plenty of it.Just note that it's £5 minimum for card payments, otherwise cash.I'll definitely be back again for my pasty-lunch fillVegetarian options: Vegetarian pasties contain animal fat, but they also have vegan pasties for those inclined.

Lanner Fish & Chip Shop
Fish Bar, Lanner, RedruthCod and chips from here this evening and it was fantastic. It was very busy when I visited but the staff here were efficient and attentive and considering how many orders they were preparing, the wait was not too bad.I ordered four lots of fish and chips which, due to how busy they were, we're all freshly cooked. We took the food back to our campsite and it didn't take long to polish it off, despite a generous (but not too big) portion size. Quality of both fish and chips was excellent. The curry sauce was dark and thick, with a nice sweet and spicy taste.Price was reasonable (you don't get cheap fish and chips anywhere these days!)Overall, highly recommend and worthy of 5 stars.

The staff are some of the kindest and friendliest people you’ll ever meet, the food is home cooked and the atmosphere there making it home from home.Food and chat for absolutely moderate price, and for as little as an extra £1.50 you'll get a drink and a pudding beside the tasty roast. Handsome.Go there, try it, you'll love it.

Cornwall Gold and Tolgus Mill
New Portreath Rd, RedruthBrought a lovely amethyst ring with diamond shoulder. The man on the mending apartment was brilliant. My fingers were badly swollen and I was ready to have the ring resized. He asked me to check how far the ring went on my finger and it went just over my knuckle so he advised me that once my fingers went down it would fit perfectly which I'm happy to say it does so thankyou so much. The lady who sold it to me was brilliant too. So glad I didn't have it resized as it fits me perfectly with a bit of room. And we found out he used to live where we live now. So nice to meet him.

We had a very warm welcome from the landlord and landlady, which totally made it. We thoroughly recommend a visit.Vegetarian options: Great selection for vegetariansDietary restrictions: Our coeliac friend was over the moon to be offered gluten free stuffing, Yorkshire pudding and gravy and she enjoyed every bit of it. Other businesses need to take note of how easy they made this look and how pleased it made our friend, rather than being made to feel as if she's an inconvenience, in other establishments!Parking: Free parking but you must log your car reg on to the tablet in the bar - simple!

Nothing is too much trouble. They are worth their weight in gold. !!!!It's a very popular place and sometimes by the evening service they have sold out of items on the menu. But there's always still a good selection of meals on offer.Other plus is they are dog friendly. Dog bowls, and doggy menu provided. A lovely touch.We always enjoy our visits. Thank you

The food in the Shaft Inn is top drawer and the Sunday roasts just get better and better and the reason for our return visit today . The bar is up with the best and draught keg beer dispensed spot on served correctly in branded glasses with the branding faced towards the customer . My wife had perfectly presented Gin and Tonic twice and in large bowl stemmed glasses to maximise presentation again . We can only say “thankyou to all” here as always . You’ve cracked it !!
