Having driven into St Austell and been totally underwhelmed (sad looking centre with empty units at every turn) we found this slightly out of town Costa. It’s located within a Travelodge and looked reasonably new and well cared for. Small outside sitting area which is a real sun trap - having said this the view of the car park is not the best! It's a Costa so it feels and looks like any other. Staff friendly and seemed helpful. It was busy when I visited with only a few tables free. Coffee and food to the usual Costa standard.
Service is always so slow since the staffing change. I think you need to retrain on efficiency or put someone else on the til. I've worked in the industry and this is not how it's done!
