Warm and friendly, good range of beers. Winter Thursday carvery highly recommended for both quality and value. Veggie option no problem.UPDATE Under new management this delightful pub has improved its menu to a higher level, yes its a little more expensive but worth every penny. Excellent,as always. Good, honest pub grub in a lovely,warm and relaxed atmosphere . Not over priced or over fussy food. Highly recommend their choc a bloc fries...superb. Chloe very attentive tooo.

The food was excellent, the chef certainly knows his business, the staff were very polite and helpful . A very comfortable atmosphere around! We would certainly recommend a visit whether local ( as we are) or when just visiting the area.
