We went here for Sunday Lunch having booked the previous day (essential). Had tried to book at the King Arthur's Arms across the road only to be told they don't serve Sunday Roasts in the Summer, they don't have the call for them. Tell that to the Crossbow patrons! We tried the classic burger and crab cake bites, both were awesome and tasted authentic (not reheated store bought). Felt like they came fresh hot from the cooking table.The staffs were pleasant and friendly. The restaurant and toilets were neat and clean.

A group of us visited here for lunch. We were welcomed and seated as soon as we arrived. The staff were lovely and food was great and reasonably priced too.Our food arrived and the plates were full. We were pleasantly surprised on how generous they were with the portions. The three men in our group were like excited little boys when they saw the size of their burgers! Would definitely recommend.
