I've had favourite cafes which are a home-away-from-home in the 4 countries and 20 places I've lived for some length of time. 108 is one of my two most favourite. For a moment, I even hesitated if I can move out of Truro because "what will I do without making a stopover at 108 every morning?!" Great coffee shop with plenty of gluten free and vegan options. The coffee is tasty too and I'd rather spend my money here than at one of the big chains. Plenty of seating and there's even a hatch to the outside world for quick takeaways. Will definitely be going there again - highly recommended.

As Australians we have struggled to find good coffee. We stumbled upon this place and had the best coffee of our trip. The trick is to use full cream milk which apparently most cafes don’t use, hence the bitter, watery coffee. Food was very good too and they had banana bread as well. Unfortunately I didn’t know this until another Australian who lives here came in and ordered it. Great little cafe. And it opens reasonably early unlike so many others.
