A real hidden gem! What a fantastic pub with incredible food, the best we've had in a long time. We're working our way through the menu and every meal has been delicious. Highly recommend, the local beer is a real treat, hosting a wide variety of beer and ales. My favourite, Verdant brewed locally in Penryn is a must try. Had the best birthday celebration over the weekend at the Stag. Very welcoming and great food. They decorated the table with balloons and banners and I couldn't of asked for a more friendlier environment to of celebrate my birthday would 100% recommend to anyone ?

Lovely local pub with excellent letting rooms. Good food and great beer.Rooms: All newly refurbished to a high standard.Food & drinks: Excellent food. A good pub style food with a French twist. Chef spent a number of years learning in France. Good range of Draft and bottle beer. Usually 2 hand pulled cask Ales from the local village brewery.
