Absurd difference in service from breakfast to dinner. At breakfast everything was streamlined and efficient, servers were polite and courteous and couldn't do enough. Come the evening, everything was sloppy, staff seemed confused and took far too much time to put a simple drinks order together. Not a great experience, though food was consistently good at least!
What a gorgeous place and even more gorgeous staff - we phoned after 5 asking for a cream tea - the kitchen had finished their daily scones by this time. Zoe and charlotte called the kitchen who offered to make a fresh batch and apologised for the 20-25 wait!! The restaurant at the St. Moritz hotel is a pretty and friendly spot. The Wednesday night special of Moules with fries, bread and a drink is bargainous for such an upscale beach resort. The food is delicious and plentiful and the service is always friendly and efficient.
