Have loved it here on previous trips. It just seems like a takeaway bakery now. Choices of vegan and veggie pastries, cakes and bread. Think pizza is also offered. We opted for coffee and a pastry each. They now only serve in paper bags and cardboard cups. So my coffee was not a great temperature and of course looses its temperature quite quickly. Very disappointed. You are directed to the huge recycling bins outside…I wonder if customers manage to put things in the right places....read full review
Vegan sausage roll to die for plus the Tiffin was scrumptious. Lattes were luke warm and lacking in volume...thought I had ordered espresso by mistake. Tasted lovely though...definitely come back again and try one of their pizzas...
Food is excellent, couldn't be better. Mostly, maybe completely, vegetarian. Not much space inside, but seating and tables outside, which is great on a nice day. It can get very busy at times, but we got in ok. We walked from Ambleside - much better than driving.
