Lovely food after a great walk in the Langdale Valley. Lovely staff, especially the lady who served us- was really helpful and had such a lovely personality. Will recommend and return.
We came here as part of a low level walk, and found this cafe a treasure. We had already had breakfast at home, but couldn’t resist the wild mushrooms on ciabatta with the creamy sauce. This was excellent. It’s hard to believe such a simple meal could give so much pleasure. The latte coffee we had was also delicious. Handy coffee shop/cafe in the Center of Elterwater. Great selection of cakes - lemon drizzle particularly good. Eclectic background music selection (possibly a little too loud for the rockier stuff)
