We stopped here today midway on a walk. Unfortunately we had already had a large breakfast so only had room for coffee but the menu was so appealing and the food we saw served looked fabulous.
The pub was full so we went over to Cafe and were so pleased we did. Great variety of choices on menu for food and drink along with specials board. Best hot chocolate I've had and we all throughly enjoyed our lunches. Staff were very friendly and service was prompt.

My wife and I enjoyed some light afternoon snacks there a few times, as they are right across the street from the Britannia Inn where we always stay when in the Lakes. I bought our seven-year-old, very picky, granddaughter a sausage roll there, and she claimed it was the best sausage roll ever. And, from her, that is great praise.
