Pubs • “Great Sunday roast and lovely service. We came back to eat again but unfortunately they weren't serving food on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A proper old fashioned pub with a nice atmosphere and even our dog was welcomed and looked after.”

“Staff are friendly, food is good and it has a good selection of ales. We popped in a couple of times for a pint in an evening and stayed for food.
They offer a blue light discount on food.”

“I visited on a weekend with friends. It was a rainy day and the place was very crowded. Seats and tables were full. Outdoor tables are all not properly rain proof.
The food and drinks were good. Good service.”

“The service was great, the staff checked on us, were polite and patient.
The roast dinner was really great and a good portion of meat. The sticky toffee pudding is a really good one.
The only issue was the jug of custard is tiny for £1 and I wouldn’t bother getting it.”

“I was surprised to see some reviews that weren’t 5* because both nights we dined here the food, drinks and service was exceptional! All the food we had over the 2 days we stayed there was excellent!”
